The Yakima Tube Top is an accessory that creates a top tube for female or odd-shaped frames (full suspension), so you can keep your bike mounted solidly on single and dual mast hitch mounts. There is larger diameter tubing and anti-rotation inserts for greater stability, and larger molded collars that are gentle with your bike stem and seat post.

While the name might take me back to the 80's at Magic Mountain on a 103 degree day accompanied by my Rubenesque love Lisa, Yakima's Tube Top is very cool. As the owner of vintage bikes as well as youth sized fat-tires, I am able to easily carry any bike on my Yakima 5-bike carrier with the tube top filling in as a crossbar. Thanx Yak!
