Comments about Yakima Racks Heavy Duty Straps:
I bought these straps to tie down kayaks and SUP boards to my car. I like that they have the extra padding around the buckle because it keeps my board from getting scratched. However, you need to be careful, sometimes they can slip a little bit, and the straps will relax. The NRS straps seem to stay put better.
But overall, if you get them real tight from the beggining, and make a few half hitches underneath and you should be good!
