Comments about Yakima Racks Even Keel Boat Mount:
I used the Even Keel to haul my Liquid Logic Remix XP10 on a 7 hour road trip which included curvaceous roads, cross winds, rain, barefoot in the snow, and at 80mph on the freeway. The boat did not budge the entire trip.
I also used it to haul a Percetion Acadia II(a big tandem kayak) with my boat on top of that boat for about an hour. I know, not ideal, but I was able to get both boats where I needed them and the only thing splattered were the bugs on the front of the boats. The rubber pad on each saddle sticks to the boat like something really sticky.
I Love the fact that I can easily transfer the Even Keel from my wife's car with factory racks to my car with a Thule setup.
Rollers would be nice, but with Even Keel I can securly haul my boat for less than half of the cost of other racks. I can load my boat by myself in way less than 5 min. I didn't give it 5 stars because the back message feature still isn't working, and there were no cup holders.
