Yakima products have NEVER let me down. These things are tough, fairly simple and work - period.
The only downside is that if you use the landing pads they are quite large. I take my rack on and off (I have a simple hoist in my garage) any time it's not in use and the pads stay on all the time. They stick up quite a bit - I would think Yakima could have produced something just as strong and utilitarian at about half the height.
Keep in mind my landing pads may be bigger then yours and the system is stronger with pads then just with regular towers!
