The ShoGun whitewater paddle by Werner is the ultimate creek and river running paddle. The large blade design is balanced to create a clean catch that is immediately powerful and smooth through out the entire stroke.

Also, the Sho-Gun whitewater paddle is available in two shaft types, Straight or Neutral Bent Shaft. Both have their advantages:

Paddlers are more familiar with straight shafts and like the light weight and ability to move their hands along a predictable, straight, and continuous grip area. Straight shafts are typically less expensive.

The Werner Neutral Bent Shaft naturally aligns your wrist to reduce stress on joints. The neutral alignment, unique to Werner Paddles, creates a stable leverage point for bracing and all types of paddle strokes. Special indexing allows more hand contact with the shaft, reducing fatigue and increasing comfort.

Comments about Werner Paddles Sho-Gun Whitewater Paddle:

I do not even know how the blade cracked, but Werner wants $180.00 plus shipping both ways if they decide its not a warranty issue. They will not acknowledge photos and overall act like spending this amount of money on a paddle is no big deal. I would not recommend this to a friend.
