The Sherpa Whitewater Paddle from Werner is an exceptionally smooth and responsive river running design. The mid size blades are evenly balanced to create a clean catch that is powerful and smooth through out the entire stroke. If you like to run rivers and rip it up, the Sherpa is a great choice.

Available in both standard diameter and small diameter shafts. Also, Werner's Sherpa paddle is available in two shaft types, Straight or Neutral Bent Shaft. Both have their advantages:

Paddlers are more familiar with straight shafts and like the light weight and ability to move their hands along a predictable, straight, and continuous grip area. Straight shafts are typically less expensive.

The Werner Neutral Bent Shaft naturally aligns your wrist to reduce stress on joints. The neutral alignment, unique to Werner Paddles, creates a stable leverage point for bracing and all types of paddle strokes. Special indexing allows more hand contact with the shaft, reducing fatigue and increasing comfort.
