The Powerhouse Carbon Whitewater Paddle from Werner offers amazing power and responsiveness needed for big creeks and river running. Full size blades are evenly balanced to create a clean catch that is immediately powerful and smooth through out the entire stroke.
Also, the Powerhouse paddle is available in two shaft types, Straight or Neutral Bent Shaft. Both have their advantages:
Paddlers are more familiar with straight shafts and like the light weight and ability to move their hands along a predictable, straight, and continuous grip area. Straight shafts are typically less expensive.
The Werner Neutral Bent Shaft naturally aligns your wrist to reduce stress on joints. The neutral alignment, unique to Werner Paddles, creates a stable leverage point for bracing and all types of paddle strokes. Special indexing allows more hand contact with the shaft, reducing fatigue and increasing comfort.

I have paddled with my Powerhouse Carbon Bentshaft 197 cm all creeking season and absolutely love it. It is super lightweight and can take a beating. I depend on it paddling class V whitewater and after breaking some other brands at inopportune times, I will never go back from Werner.
