This is a great if your looking for a beginner paddle. Its a great price and is very durable. After borrowing one that was about three years old I decided to buy this one. You really can't tell the difference. The only thing is that ever since I bought my desperado, I've wanted a bent shaft. But like I said, you get what you pay for. Its a great paddle and will do what you tell it too.
