Comments about Werner Paddles Bandit Canoe Paddle (Carbon):
I bought this paddle for my son, who is a raft guide, a white water c-1 paddler, and a creek boater. This was what he wanted in a paddle. It arrived quickly, the price was right, and the quality excellent.

Comments about Werner Paddles Bandit Canoe Paddle (Carbon):
This is my first serious whitewater canoe paddle, and it has been great so far this season. I used to paddle with a flat blade, and really like the spoon blade that this has. The paddle is very light and sturdy, which pays off over a day of hard paddling. I haven't been very kind to it - bracing off rocks, digging hard in shallow water, etc, and it has stood up well to the abuse. While the carbon fiber is beautiful, the clear coat does scratch very easily, so it won't look beautiful for long, but that shouldn't be the reason you buy this paddle. The only drawback I see is that since it has a spoon blade, you are going to gradually wear down one corner, since you can't flip the paddle to spread the wear out evenly to both blade tip corners.
