Vibram FiveFingers
Sprint (Women's)
Product Number: 10364
The Vibram FiveFingers Sprint Barefoot Shoe is a secure fitting, incredibly comfortable "shoe" used to give you more balance, better posture and a real connection to any sport you participate in. The Sprint is Vibram's most versatile product with hook and loop closures along the heel and instep giving you a tighter, more form fitting feel than even a climbing shoe.
Five Fingers Barefoot technology comes from the age old idea that walking or running barefoot puts you in touch with the natural movement of your body, feet, legs and entire body. Creating a better posture and for some people a connection to the earth and energies within. These help to enhance your grip on surf boards, in yoga positions, Pose Method running and fitness training.
Constructed with a thin, abrasion resistant stretch polyamide fabric that fits low on the foot for comfort and quick drying. The outsole is a flexible, non marking TC1 performance rubber sole that is razor siped to enhance grip over all sorts of terrain.
SPRINT IS BEST FOR: Light Trekking, Bouldering, Pose Method Running, ChiRunning, Fitness Training, Yoga, Pilates, Sailing, Boating, Kayaking, Canoeing, Surfing, Windsurfing, Flats Fishing, Travel

I was worried about getting these, as they were the most expensive shoes (or clothes in general) I ever bought. My feared turned out to be unfounded.[...] You really can feel the ground while wearing them, and they are much more comfortable to run in than anything else I have (which is admittedly not much). They certainly do get looks and comments; I got the blue/gray which are even "louder". Everyone comments about how interesting they are, and I rarely get unapproving looks. One word of warning, you probably should be careful when starting to wear them. I got a horrible blister/bruise on my foot because I ran over some rocks like I would in usual shoes. Not a problem now, but something to watch out for. I wouldn't advise going trail running or hiking first thing. Also, not related to the sprints, but the KSOs (which I got in person); be careful with the sizes, especially if you have even slightly high arches. I had to go two sizes up from what the size chart said to even be able to get them on. This will vary, but the tops are fairly tight in comparison to length.

I have the Vibram KSO and they are AMAZING. I was excited to get these and the fit was so different that I found them to be unwearable. The elastic around the foot was way too tight! Unlike my KSO, these had almost a 'heel spur'. They fit ok, but then the back heel part jutted out in a really ugly way. Overall it was like half of the shoe was too big and half was too small. Ugh!

Comments about Vibram FiveFingers Sprint (Women's):
I love this style and it would have worked for me except for the fact of my thick foot. The arch of my foot is normal but the bridge is higher than the normal foot, making the elastic way tight. Larger size is no help. I think the lace up will offer more control in the way of fit. Love Rock Creeks customer service reps. very helpful and very kind. Blessings. P.D.

Comments about Vibram FiveFingers Sprint (Women's):
I got these as an alternative to sneakers for running and walking. I chose the sprint model because I wanted arch support (which the strap lets you adjust) but also something breathable. I ordered a 41 and I'm a women's size 10 - they were pretty tight when I first got them and I was worried that I'd gotten the wrong size - but after a couple of wears and a few blisters later, they've stretched enough that my feet feel comfortable walking around in them for hours at a time. I am happy with my purchase.

Comments about Vibram FiveFingers Sprint (Women's):
We went on an eight mile mountain run and she fell in love with them. They are light, comfortable, protecting while still flexible and the way running should be. Between us both, we have 7 fivefingers already. Shoes are a thing of the past. Snowboots are still good though. A must for any avid athlete!

Comments about Vibram FiveFingers Sprint (Women's):
I use them for everyday use, and walking. I like the feeling of stability and freedom when wearing them.
It is a little challenge, though, to put them on and off, and need to spend some time to adjust the straps right so it wont be uncomfortable when walking.
I also have challenge to wear it with socks, as it's too tight, so it's little harder on cold days...

Comments about Vibram FiveFingers Sprint (Women's):
I have the Vibram KSO in the same size, and they fit great. But for some reason, this Sprint model is too long in the heel, so I had to return them.

I love my sprints for running on soft trails. My feet aren't used to the impact of running without cushioning on hard surfaces yet.

Comments about Vibram FiveFingers Sprint (Women's):
Have three different models and love them all!!! I got used to them so much I have real problem getting other shoes on. I feel my stability got improved, my knees don't hurt anymore while I'm running and just really enjoy wearing them.

Comments about Vibram FiveFingers Sprint (Women's):
Love this shoe. It's a bit weird at first and you will definitely get the "uh, what the ..." looks but you will definitely have a spring in your step when you are walking or running. Not the best for trails as you will feel every pebble but definitely a great everyday shoe. They also look cute with summer dresses and jeans.

Comments about Vibram FiveFingers Sprint (Women's):
These are minimal shoes so they offer no cushioning or support. However, they offer plenty of flexibility and control. If you're not used to minimal running shoes, you should start off slowly and build up to your usual routine. Because there is no cushioning, you'll find that you naturally want to run more forward on your foot so your foot muscles can act as shock absorbers. My feet and calf muscles were sore at first until I got used to them. The main advantage for me is the flexibility they provide. My toes can stretch out so they don't cramp like they do in regular running shoes. It's a weird sensation at first but very comfortable after you get used to it.
