I love my first pair of the FFV. I used to use just regular trial running shoes. I was tired of rolling my ankles and getting bad bruises on my feet. These FFV are no joke. You can haul [*] on trials, and running up hills is effortless, due to the lightweight, and the traction just kills any terrain that gets in your way. Just a little 411, do not go all out when your first start running in them. They will make your feet sore.All in all the shoe is super sweet and I give them 5 stars forsure. I will be getting another pair in the near future.

I would recommend buying one size bigger than recommended on the sizing chart(I had to exchange the first pair). It took several minutes to get my feet in them properly, but they felt great from the first time I wore them. I wear them all day with no problem. Only complaint is my feet get too cold now that the weather is changing.

These are excellent for trail running, especially on LESS rocky trails. I have worn them to Obstacle Race and they were perfect - they stayed on through mud and water.

The Vibram FiveFingers KSO are very nice and lasted a long time other than after use everyday for a year and a half. The top fabric is falling off. I use shoes hard. Another reason is I am still growing and the shoes have stretched and can't any more so they are breaking.

I bought these because a friend that I ran with had some and loved them. I figured I would give them a try, great feel and fun at the same time. I only run a couple miles at a time, not sure how they would feel if running more than 4 or 5 miles.

I'm an avid trail runner. I run marathons and ultra marathons in my VFF's. I have had a few pair of VFF's in the last 2 years and really love the KSO Trek Sports. I must warn that, like my other VFF's, they stink very bad after a few sweaty runs. I'm forced to leave them outside when I take them off, and I have to scrub the stink off of my feet as well. Haven't figured out how to get rid of the VFF stink yet... :)
Other than that, the KSO Trek Sports are the best VFF's that Vibram has to offer in my opinion. I've owned the KSO Treks, and the KSO Sport, and these shoes are really the best of both worlds; they have a breathable top, with the traction on the bottom for trail running.
If I have one complaint, it would be that the ACL pad in the back tends to catch twigs, dirt, and pebbles that jump up from the trail. I'm sure a nice pair of Injinji's might fix that, but I typically go "sockless" in my VFF's. No real bad complaints with any aspect of this shoe though! I love 'em!
