The Covert Classic Messenger by Timbuk2 is a reflective bag that rivals that of a disco ball. The covert center panel appears to be a simple fabric, but when hit with lights of a car it lights up like a Christmas tree. The two side panels add to the safe nature of the bag with interwoven reflective filament sewn throughout. Ideal for impressing your friends and freaking cars out at night.

This bag is great. Two minor things: 1. it is all black. The picture makes it look like there is a skunk stripe. The whole bag is reflective, even the sides and the shoulder pad on the strap... only the strap is non reflective. 2. I was hoping that there would be a thin divider for papers and books... similar to what they have for laptops (my other timbuk2 computer bag) except made of thinner material... nope.
All in all, a good bag. Wish it was lighter, but with the shoulder pad, you don't notice as much.

A great durable messenger bag with a hidden secret. I work weird hours doing shift work. At times when I leave at night it is comforting to know that I have a bag not only large enough to hold all of my things, but one with added safety of high visibility to oncoming traffic.It is well constructed, with plenty of cargo room, and I always receive compliments on how stylish it looks.The only draw back is that it is a little heavy to carry around, but with all that is going for it, the weight is something I can easily overlook.

I LOVE this bag. My roommate and I both have one and I love the style as well as the safety factor of having such a highly reflective bag. If you're a bike commuter or even someone who walks a lot at night, you're going to feel safer with this bag.
