This thing came in a little pouch. At first it looked rather flimsy and fragile, but actually it is very strong! Once you figure out how to slip it over the mattresses, it has a tensioner to draw the two mattresses together very smoothly and tightly. Held two adults side by side with repeated use. Material used is very thin, so it doesn't make a ridge or hard bump to lie on when attached. Lightweight, it only weighs about an ounce, and that includes the pouch. A suprisingly good product that I am glad I bought.
