When staying warm is as important as keeping your pack light, the ProLite Plus mattress is an excellent solution. Patent-pending diagonal-cut foams reduce convective heat loss, making it the ideal choice for ski touring, cold weather expeditions and winter camping. This female-specific model provides added warmth for cold sleepers. It's substantial enough to keep you comfortable while mountaineering or ski touring, yet rolls up small and light enough that you'll have no problem taking it as far as you want to go. Stuff sack included.

  • Lightweight: New tapered shape reduces weight by nearly 10%.

Comments about Therm-A-Rest ProLite Plus Sleeping Pad (Women's):

I'm a rather cold sleeping female backpacker and a bit on the wimpy side. But when it come to sleeping on rocks and gravel this pad is a thing of sheer beauty. I'm 5'7'' 128 lbs and yes, it's a bit short but I do sleep on my side so there's no problem there. This pad offers a ton comfort and light weight. The added insulation at the "high points" of a women's body is perfect...that being said my last tent companion (guy) wanted a test drive on it for a night. Nope, it's all mine. Get the pad!! It's worth it.

      • Q:

This is listed as a women's pad, but in the specifications it is listed as unisex. What is the difference between the ProLite Plus for women and the regular ProLite Plus? Is there any difference between them other than the cover design?

          A:

Several differences, actually. First, the women's pad is 66" long whereas the men's pad is 72" long. The women's version also includes extra insulation in the torso and feet, since women tend to sleep a little colder than men do; this means the men's pad has an R value of 3.8 and the women's have an R value of 4.6! This means the regular-length Men's pad only weighs about an ounce more than the women's. One more difference: the men's pad is available in short, regular and long lengths but the women's version only comes in one length. Hope that helps you make a decision!
