Comments about Therm-A-Rest BaseCamp Pad:
This pad is just big enough to offer comfort and a good nights rest, but not too big to be bulky or heavy. Offers good insulation from the ground in cold weather. Good valve which doesn't leak. Way more comfortable than the cheap knock-offs which are not comfortable or leak. Well worth the money.

Comments about Therm-A-Rest BaseCamp Pad:
This pad is way more comfortable than the cheap versions. Well worth the price. It is just thick enough to give great insulation and comfort, but not so big that it is too large or heavy. I used this while tent camping in the heat of Death Valley and the cold of Bryce Canyon on a motorcycle trip. This pad offers more insulation than an air matress, I guess because the foam traps many small air pockets, instead of one large air chamber. And, it is actually more comfortable because it isn't too soft.
