I checked a 1/2 size too big on the guide because after reading other reviews I ordered a 7 and usually wear a 7.5. The 7 was a perfect fit.
Just recently went on a long kayak trip on the Upper Missouri. We made stops along the way for lunch and breaks and these shoes were perfect in and out of the water.
most water shoes my feet feel water logged the whole time. one extra piece of advice put sunscreen on your feet before you wear. I burned around the straps because I didn't get close enough.
