The Nano may be the most versatile rope in Sterling's line up. It's both the largest diameter half and skinniest single rope that we offer. Duel certified, the Nano is the top choice rope of many of our athletes for alpine climbs, extended expeditions and long routes where rope drag would be an issue.NOTE: Due to the Nanos' small diameter, it is recommended that it only be used by experienced climbers and belayers and NOT for top-roping or working of routes. It is critical that proper belay devices be used and extreme caution should be taken.*Olive Drab is not a stocked item and may have longer lead times.

From icy cliffs of New Hampshire to long rock ridges of the North Cascades the Fusion Nano is by far my favorie lightweight rope of all time. Despite the thin diameter the rope stays pretty stiff making it easy to work with and ideal for long rock and alpine routes.

I have used the NANO on long extreme alpine routes in the Himalayas, and hard, testy trad climbs in the US. No doubt a stand out performer! Sterling is setting the indusrty standards for strong, light, and durable cords. [@]
