The Flash II Knife by SOG has got to be one of the coolest knives weve ever seen. Forget its wicked-quick blade access, the fact it handles like a race car on rails, or that it locks up like Alcatraz. This knife just looks and feels extraordinary.
The Flash family of knives feature SOG Assisted Technology(S.A.T.), which employs a powerful piston lock that is easily released with a sliding button. The Flash II (Straight edge) comes standard with glass-reinforced Zytel handle and straight edge, Satin finish blade.
All Flash knives come standard with SOGs patent pending, reversible bayonet mounted clip that ensures the lowest, most discreet carry possible. SOG also had the foresight to incorporate an additional safety lock that gives added security when the blade is closed.

Comments about Sog Knives And Tools Flash II Knife:
I have used this knife in a variety of situations including: camping (used from cutting small ropes and opening packages to spreading peanut-butter on bread), working in a warehouse (opening boxes), and other miscellaneous instances. I think that from a functional standpoint, this knife is excellent. I love the quick-open feature, it allows the user to have the knife out and ready with the flick of a finger. The clip is also great, as the knife sits discreetly in the pocket, only the outside of the clip showing. On the downside, I found that the knife does not hold its edge particularly well. I think what dulled it the most was using it to carve a walking stick on a camping trip. Even so, I was hoping the edge might hold up a little better. I also wish there was some information included with the knife regarding sharpening and maintaining the edge since I was somewhat novice to knives when I first acquired it. I still have it and use it pretty often. Overall I highly recommend this knife.
