Snow Peak
Titanium Spork
Product Number: 1772
Snow Peak's ultra-light Spork, weighing in at only 1-1/2 ounces combines two wonderful inventions, the fork and the spoon. Snow Peaks Spork takes the invention one step further by producing the utensil in titanium. Meticulously engineered tip of Spork makes this the all-purpose eating utensil. Because it is made of titanium you will experience no metallic smell or taste. It does not ionize foods nor will it rust as other metals.

What’s in MY pack? Backpacking gear lists from a Great Smoky Mountains overnighter
"Ever since we published a series of backpacking gear lists this spring (an ultralight backpacking gear list, a traditional backpacking gear list and a beginner’s backpacking gear list) several blog readers have contacted me to ask which of those items I personally carry. After all, it’s one thing to compile lists of suggested backpacking gear, and another thing entirely to disclose exactly what I take on the trail. Well, what better way to follow up those gear lists, and answer that question, than with another gear list?"

Comments about Snow Peak Titanium Spork:
I like this quality of strength and lightness, however when I received it, I was disappointed to find the handle is shorter than I would of preferred. This is for my hubby, to use while going on hiking trips. He cooks out of his MSR stove, and pours hot water directly into the freeze dried backpacking food packets. If the handle was longer, he would get less food on his hand, while eating. It measures 6.5 from end to end.

Comments about Snow Peak Titanium Spork:
I got this spork as a Christmas gift. I use it for every meal. For breakfast cereal and soup there is easily enough liquid in the bowl of it to enjoy. While the tines easily stab everything from green beans to chicken and steak. Major durable and lightweight qualities. Built to last and cleans with a simple rinse in hot water. I love my Snow Peak spork!

these things are awesome! why, its not everyday that an invention with such high prestige comes in super futuristic titanium. if you get enough of them, you could even build your own Destructor Spork-bot. (Complete with death ray)*
*plutonium dust for death ray not included with spork
