It is Snow Peak's great honor to experience and enjoy the richness of nature, finding that when we experience the natural world we find happiness and a sense of fulfillment. Snow Peak's journey began in 1958, when their founder Yukio Yamai, an accomplished mountaineer, created his own line of superior gear out of the dissatisfaction with available products. It is their birth place and the founder's heritage that they look to when ever Snow Peak sits down at the drawing board and creates their next piece of outdoor gear. Today Snow Peak strives to create products that inspire people to enjoy the outdoors, they seek harmony between people and nature, and look to manufacturer with such high quality standards that you may pass on your equipment to the next generation. This is where all of their designs are born.
