The Smith Pavilion is the lil’ cousin to the Vanguard. This new style features a medium-scale, modern silhouette that provides great coverage. Stylish, with an athletic and sporty stance. The temples feature metal detail plus, custom molded, dimensional branding plaques with transparent elements. The Grilamid TR90 frame is an excellent fitting style that will compliment many face types. Carbonic TLT lenses provide optical clarity in both polarized and non-polarized options.

Comments about Smith Optics Pavilion Sunglasses (Polarized):

These sunglasses are very poor quality. I am no on my 3rd pair in 2 years and need to send these back as well. The arm on the first pair broke within the first year. The second pair had an issue with the lenses where they were smudged and whatever caused it could not be removed (Note, I had only worn the 2nd pair less than 10 times). The third pair had the same smudge issue and this time, I only wore them twice. I'm spending more money shipping the glasses to Smith for warranty replacement than it would cost to buy a new pair of glasses. It looks like Smith finally caught on and discontinued the product line.

Love these

Comments about Smith Optics Pavilion Sunglasses (Polarized):

I wore my previous Smith sunglasses daily over 7 years until I accidentally broke them. The glasses and I were inseparable and I wore them everywhere. I wanted to find a pair similar my original Headwater style. I am very pleased with the Pavilion style. Its not too flashy and fits well. I ended up getting them in black with the platinum lenses and I am very happy with my purchase. I love Smith, I wish they still sold their older styles on their website. The hardest part was to pick a style to buy because they all look great and I wish I could buy one of each :) A nice feature would also be to see the styles worn by real people and not just a pair of glasses.

Love These Sunglasses

Comments about Smith Optics Pavilion Sunglasses (Polarized):

These sunglasses have great coverage and a great fit. I have only had my glasses for a month but so far so good. My previous smiths were sliders, which have been discontinued, so I was a little worried about the coverage of the Pavilion, but they have been great. I mainly use them for everyday use, driving, golfing, exercising, but I recently took a trip to Aruba and they did great in the Aruba sun.

Great versatility.

Comments about Smith Optics Pavilion Sunglasses (Polarized):

I found the Pavilion to be that happy medium between the smaller profile sunglasses like the Hudson and the bigger styles like the Rosewoods and Serpicos. Surprisingly the Pavilions have big sunglass coverage. They are very light and easy to wear for hours on end. I have a pair of Lockwoods and dig those as well, but I find the Pavilions to be a tad more stylish, comfortable and have better coverage.

Extremely Impressed

Comments about Smith Optics Pavilion Sunglasses (Polarized):

I went into the shop intending to buy som Maui Jims as my wife had a pair that I loved. I tried on litteraly every pair mens (and some womens) glasses in the store and these had the best fit and look. I compared them to my wifes Mauis when I got home and, again, the Smiths won out... for less $s. Love the glass. The fit is top notch. My only concern is the the finish, due to an earlier review (I haven't had any issues with the finish). The lifetime warrantee puts me at ease though. I've only had the glasses for 1 week, so I didn't max out the "quality" slider. So far the glasses have been perfect, and they feel qualiy. I highly recommend these glasses.

Spotted Lenses?

By ColoDad

Comments about Smith Optics Pavilion Sunglasses (Polarized):

Any idea how the lens coating could become spotted or stained? These glasses were not worn very often but are now practically impossible to wear due to these stains. Disappointed after coming back to Smiths. Maybe I got a bad pair?

Great fit and function, a little weak on quality

By FireMedicLee

Comments about Smith Optics Pavilion Sunglasses (Polarized):

I bought the matte tortoise and really love the lenses and the fit of the glasses. I am a Firefighter/Paramedic and wear these constantly at work. They stay in place well in all types of activities and provide great coverage. After about 1 year the tortoise finish started to come off. I will be sending them back for replacement soon, just haven't been able to go without the glasses for long enough to get them replaced! Great glasses, I just hope that they have addressed the defect for my next pair.

Perfect for scooter riding.

Comments about Smith Optics Pavilion Sunglasses (Polarized):

The (white) Pavilion matches my white helmet and white Vespa. They're very 1960s, Gina Lolabrigida-looking! They don't take up too much room, so they fit under the face shield of my helmet nicely. I'm a poem when I wear these riding!
