As a guide on a class III-IV river, this helmet is perfect. I has holes so I don't get hot on July days. Soon after I started using the helmet the inside padding became unglued from the helmet. I simply glued it back with a little bit of gorilla glue. Since i'm a girl with a small head the chin strap was rather long, but shred ready had a rubber band on the other strap I clipped it together. This is a great helmet and its CHEAP!
