The Shred Ready Tdub helmet is the Shaggy helmet but with 3/4 more protection around the edge for added coverage. The Tdub is designed to be stylish, and provide superior protection.
Made with a fiberglass and Shredlar fiber that has been induced with marine vinylester resins to make a super durable, safe helmet for kayaking big water or steep creeks.
A four point retention system is put into place to give you the ability to wear this helmet forwards or backwards on your head, and to absolutely claim the Tdub can protect you with comfort there is a multi-impact VN foam liner that is laminated to closed cell comfort foam to ensure that when you get knocked, you don't go out.

This is my second helmet, and a huge improvement over the Pro-Tec that I previously had. Weight, coverage, fit, and comfort are all top notch. I did have to play around with the padding over the course of a couple of trips to get it dialed in the way I like it. The visor does a great job of blocking the sun. Switching the helmet from facing forward to rear is extremely simple and quick to do.

I recently traded in my Shred Ready Shaggy for a Tdub. It was one of the best helmet decisions I've made. I found myself running easier creeks with my Shaggy, wishing I had a little more coverage. Unfortunately the only other helmet I have is a Full Face. It seemed that something in between made perfect sense. The Dub provides a little more coverage with no real noticeable weight difference. Still works fine playboating and the visor provides more than adequate protection from the sun. Oh, and it looks great too.
