Really like the product, but hard to put a map into flat, and my fault for not checking, but does not quite hold a full sheet of paper. Causes problems for my use (Adventure Racing).

Adventure racing has high demands including snow, heavy rain, kayaking in heavy water, and swimming at the drop of a hat. This map case is easy to make totally waterproof compared to the "zip lock" type. It is rugged in bushwhacking, but I have gone through two in 4 years because of my abusive behavior. The plastic is starting to split on this one.
