MC III 28° Sleeping Bag
Product Number: 25332
The Sea to Summit MC III 28 degree sleeping bag is the warmest bag in the Micro Series, and the best choice if you need the smallest possible option for sub-freezing temperatures. Fully-featured and ultralight, this down sleeping bag is EN-rated to a lower-limit temperature of 28 degrees F and a comfort temperature of 39 degrees F.
The Micro Series down sleeping bags focus on ultralight performance for trekking or traveling. Sea to Summit uses the highest-quality European goose down available, rated at 850+ loft and backed up by a certification document included with each sleeping bag. 2D NanoShell™ technology provides the lightest, most breathable water-resistant shell available. Temperature ratings are the result of honest, third-party EN testing performed on each sleeping bag.
With quilted baffle construction to optimize down placement and a contoured mummy shape, the Micro sleeping bags feature the best warmth-to-weight ratio in their class. A unique drawstring opening at the foot helps regulate temperature, and the MC III can be converted from a technical sleeping bag to an open duvet by simply unzipping it. The 55:45 fill ratio and form-fitting shape allow the bag to rotate with you throughout the night. The soft-touch lining fabric is down-proof and highly breathable for comfort, and an easily-accessible security pocket inside the bag is ideal for stowing electronics to preserve battery performance in cold weather.
The Micro Series is Sea to Summit's choice for cycle touring across the Pyrenees, adventure travel on the Inca Trail in South America and light backpacking in the Sierras. These down sleeping bags are so revolutionary we can’t fit all of the information here, so check out this series of articles on our blog!

Comments about Sea To Summit MC III 28deg Sleeping Bag:
The combo of using the Sea to Summit MC III 28 and Reactor Extreme Thermolite Liner is PERFECT for 3 season Hammock camping. As an International Disaster relief volunteer I am always on call and I'm never quite sure what conditions I will be sent to on a moments notice. The "bottom" hole feature in this bag is GREAT for sleeping bag entry and exit in a hammock shelter (this can be a real pain at times) I can use various combinations of using the liner with the bag to get comfortable from 20 degrees to 80! I love it!

Comments about Sea To Summit MC III 28deg Sleeping Bag:
This bag has found its way into the upper echelon of my gear. Although the price may have taken a toll on my wallet, the premium quality you get from this bag made it all worthwhile. I have not slept in a more comfortable sleeping bag. The down seems to just fill up the space you're not using. Only note, even though I am 5'11, I had to send my regular length size back for a long. When you close up the footbox, you lose about 5" of foot space.
