Sea to Summit
eVent Compression Dry Sack
Product Number: 4671
The Sea to Summit's eVent Compression Dry Sacks feature a completely new concept in compression dry bags - there is no valve. This innovation uses an air-permeable base made of eVent® waterproof fabric, which allows air to be pushed out of the sack, but won’t allow water to get back in.
The eVent Compression Dry Sack has a roll top, and Hypalon™ closure with a lid and 4 straps that evenly compress and maintain compressed size. The sack also includes reinforced stitching on all stress points, and a pull handle on the bottom. This quality Sea to Summit bag is super compact and very light. Perfect for any adventure you can imagine!

This is a great stuff sack that will shrink down even large synthetic bags to a manageable size and it will keep your gear dry even in torrential downpours or a quick submersion. It's lightweight and the eVent breathes well so there is no vent required when compressing your bulky sleeping bag. My only complaint happened during a mission in Afghanistan when my pack was pushed against the exhaust pipe on our truck and the stuff sack actually melted inside my pack from the heat and took a little bit of my sleeping bag with it. In other words, be sure to keep this sack away from heat sources and sparks.

The only pro I can think of is that it compresses very well.

Comments about Sea to Summit eVent Compression Dry Sack (Assorted Color):
This was a lifesaver I bought 3 wish I had bought a couple more my husband and I uses them for our sleeping bags and rain gear for a month long motorcycle trip we went through high heats rain ice and winds and everything stayed dry and was easily packed away on the motorcycle for the next day. On a trip like this things need to be compact the compression bags made it possible to bring along a few more clothes to ensure we had gear for all weather and made it easy to carry it all on a lowrider and street bob no dressers needed for a trip with there bags

Comments about Sea to Summit eVent Compression Dry Sack (Assorted Color):
I bought this specifically for my new Mountain Hardwear 32°F Conness Down sleeping bag. This compression sack was able to compress this bag down to smaller than a football. Which was integral, since I have decided to use a smaller pack for weekend only trips.
To get the sack to compress to it's smallest size, it did require 2 people, but I don't consider this a detractor since I always hike with other people.
I did not test the water resistance of this product, but the brand speaks for itself in that regard.

Comments about Sea to Summit eVent Compression Dry Sack (Assorted Color):
This stuff sack works great. I have never had a wet sleeping bag, even after all day soakers in the Smokies. Tip- oversize it so you can put your insulated jacket, spare socks, etc. into it. Have owned mine for about two and a half years and is still holding up, with a ton of use on it!

Comments about Sea to Summit eVent Compression Dry Sack (Assorted Color):
I was skeptical that our large synthetic sleeping bags would not compress to 8"x9", but the eVent Compression Dry Sack did the job with no problems at all. The Dry Sack is lightweight, but has a lot of muscle to it. Our official trip isn't until this fall, but I'm confident that this item will hold up to its reputation of being strong and waterproof.

Comments about Sea to Summit eVent Compression Dry Sack (Assorted Color):
My sons and I just got back from our canoe trip in the BEWAC. The eVents compression sacks preformed perfect. They were water proof and vented the air out to allow for complete compression. They held up to tuff conditions and use. I would recommend these compression sacks to anyone. They are going up for another adventure in 30 days.

Comments about Sea to Summit eVent Compression Dry Sack (Assorted Color):
Carried all my issued and personal gear in these bags. Reduced space by half. After two heavy days of rain in Afghanistan I was the only one with dry gear.
