i use these shorts for trail running mostly, but also use them for long runs on the road. this is just another great product from salomon, one of the few companies specializing in trail running. the best thing about them is their weight and quick dry time, which is important on the trail. the only downside is the cost ([$] retail) and no pockets to keep keys, gels, etc.
