I use this shoe on roads and trails. Regularly run 7 to 10 miles on single track in them and also ran the Atlanta Half Marathon in them.
I have put a slightly stiffer insole in them.

I use these for road and trail running and everyday use. They work well for everything! I have no complaints other than the toe box is bigger than other Salomon models - but this may be a plus for some. They are super stable and have good grip on a variety of surfaces.

I run in this shoe on trails. I found that around 4-5hr point the arch rubs and give me blisters. Under 4hr run they are great! wonderful for running thru creeks and running in the rain.
If a running shoe with a wide toe box and that is not to firm it is pefect.

I love this shoe! It was very hard to find because it was so new. Rock/Creek had one pair of 7 left and I wear a 7 1/2 typically but I was desperate to have them. I couldn't believe the fit there is no way I could have worn a 7 1/2 so the run a little big. Which was great for my situation. Rock/Creek shipping was AMAZING 2-3 days and they were on my doorstep as promised.
