    Comments about Salomon Twin Belt:

The 2 bottle carrier is great for long distance while hiking and allows for my hands to be free.
I hate bladder water carriers and this is perfect for my stainless steel insulated bottles.

What does it weigh? Are the bottles included? What material(s) is it made of?

Weighs about 12.5 ounces. I'm NOT sure if that weight includes the empty bottles or not... but they ARE included.

    • Q:

I am going on a long hike (about 800K over 30 days), am carrying a 48L not want to take my water bladder.
Can I comfortably wear this belt with the bottles and "pack" turned to the front?

I don't think that would be very comfortable, no. These are meant to sit pretty low on the hips so the water weight doesn't bounce around; I think you'd be hitting your thighs on the bottles with every step.
