This works well as a comfortable tag holder. On a big dog it stretches and becomes too loose, also the adjuster slides larger. A large dog could easily get out of it if you're using a leash with it, which could be dangerous in traffic. I do use it on a dog that has a skin reaction to flat collars and leather just to hold tags. When I'm using a leash I switch out with a more secure collar.

I Bring my Rhodesian Ridgeback into the woods quite often and this collar is great. It is narrow and I assume comfortable because of this. Seems to be quite effective, but might not hold up with large dogs if using a leash constantly. Seems to be more of a small dog, or unleashed large dog collar.
