This is the quickest and easiest way to clean your drinking water. The liter and half liter settings and the visible timer make it perfect. I have heard other reviewers say that it doesn't work as well in the cold but I have filtered water right at freezing and never had any problems and the added weight of extra batteries is negligible. (and I would suggest always carrying an extra set of batteries, lithium batteries seem to work the best) This is a fantastic product especially when coupled with the SteriPEN pre-filter.
