The Atlas 7001™ pole system is strong, lightweight, durable, resistant to corrosion and dents, and easy to service by hand in the field. There is a large front vestibule for dry entry with aluminum brow pole that provides increased strength and head room. A Tension Shelf™ provides strength and support for the vestibule pole, and is available for 3-D storage. A full-size mesh door with dual slider zippers is added for easy entry and ventilation, and for extra safety, reflective guy-out loops, starter points and zipper pulls are there for easy set-up at night.

This is a fine tent and you get what you pay for. The fabric is a bit thin and I do not see this as being the most durable tent, but that being said it should serve you well with a good thick ground cloth. It is roomy enough for two but not three people. Due to the mesh walls this is a tent best served for hot summer nights, and if you go without the fly you can see the stars. However, I do have some concerns with it's long term durability. If I could have afforded to, I would have purchased a slightly stronger tent. Still, I am very satisfied.

Bought the tent for weekend backpacking trips in the Adirondacks/White Mountains. Held up great so far through 1 summer's use. Tent is very light and easily stowed in pack. Setup with 2 people took less than 5 minutes. Nice and airy without the fly on with most of the body being mesh. Fit 2 large men (6'2", 6'4") with room to spare although one more would be a bit tight. Would also recommend the footprint to protect the bottom. Overall tent is great would recommend highly.
