The PhD Running Trail Running Mini Sock by Smartwool is like a constant temperature gauge for your feet. If you are running to beat your PR or just jogging through the neigborhood, the PhD socks will keep your feet cool when hot, and keep them hot when cold. Wicking moisture from your foot keeps you from forming blisters or hot spots and with Smartwool's smartfit system, the four point banded compression system, you get support in your heel, arches and across the top of your foot. Extra cushioning under the forefoot and heel gives you added support to run farther and for a longer distance.

Comments about SmartWool PhD Trail Running Mini Sock (Men's):

i bought a pair of these socks about 1 year ago and love them so i bought 6 more pair and got rid of all my "regular" socks... they keep my feet warm even after they get wet,i ran the 2009 lookout 10k in them,we had to cross many creeks,it also rained the nite before so the creeks were deep, but feet stayed warm, could not ask for a better sock, this is all i wear now!

Comments about SmartWool PhD Trail Running Mini Sock (Men's):

Thick sock performs extremely well. I wear it with my bike sandals. My feet do not get cold even when it rains. Costly but worth it. Other Smart Wool socks perform as well.

Comments about SmartWool PhD Trail Running Mini Sock (Men's):

I haven't had them too long, so I haven't had the opportunity to really run at distance with them. I've worn them casually and on short jogs and they've been comfortable. No complaints so far.
