Comments about Therm-A-Rest ProLite 3 Sleeping Pad:

I use my thermarest for long airport layovers. Easily stows into my carry on. I don't know about the durability of it, since I use mine gently and typically indoors.

Comments about Therm-A-Rest ProLite 3 Sleeping Pad:

I like everything about the Prolite 3, except that it is rather thin. It doesn't really cusion well when you're on a rocky or bumpy surface. For the price and weight difference, I think the Prolite 4 is much better. It's still lightweight, compact, and doesn't slip on the floor of the tent, but it's thicker and more comfortable. Admittedly, I'd sacrifice a little extra weight for comfort. I'm the type that packs wine with me on backpacking trips...to me, a little extra comfort and luxury makes for more fun in the backcountry!
