The Tech Amphibian 2 Water Shoe by Salomon is an extremely comfortable hybrid of a supportive trail shoe and the lightness and versatility of a sandal. A clog like entry in the back offers you the ability to slide the shoe on when wearing paddling socks or just feel like being lazy. With the concealed smooth internal stitching and Bamboo lining you get awesome comfort with no chafing even when wearing without socks. And we all know what happens when you wear shoes without socks, which is why the Bamboo liner is great offering natural odor prevention as well as comfort.

The Quicklace gives you an easy option when tightening your shoe for a secure fit and the Contagrip outsole is super sticky giving you amazing friction on the wettest of rocks.

I bought these for my trip to Costa Rica in Jan 2010. Thought I would break them in first and wore them when I visited my son in San Diego. The first day we went to the Zoo and after 5 hours of walking I had a blister on top of my left pinkie toe. I had worn these with socks for several days before the trip and thought they were broken in. Since I wanted these for Costa Rica and, here at home, for river kyaking and walking on the beach, I am now a little leery of how they will perform in Costa Rica where I will be canyoneering, whitewater rafting, and hiking. Would like to rate again after the trip.
