I bought these shoes specifically for wearing around camp after a long day of backpacking. In addition, I like to fish at mountain lakes and thought these would be better than Teva-type sandals for wading through streams, bush wacking around lakes and doing things at camp like foraging for firewood.
The shoes fit the bill. They are reasonably comfortable and have good traction. They dry out relatively fast. They are relatively light to pack. My size 12s weighed in at 21.9 oz. They don't have a stiff heel cup so they can pack pretty flat in the bottom of my backpack.
They are not super comfortable and are a little wide for my long, narrow feet but for what I am using them for they are fine.
On word of caution..I would not do any running or hiking of any significant distance in these shoes. They are rather flimsy.

These shoes are AMAZING. They are so light you don't feel like anything's on your feet. I love the way my feet feel in these as you sit down in the shoe lower than most shoe's because of there design. My feet are sensitive to soft shoes but I can wear these all day and not have any problem's.
