The Skywalker Helmet by Mammut is a climber's helmet made to be lightweight and highly ventilated to help keep your temperature regulated. Constructed from extremely hard plastic foams, you can be assured your head will be protected from rock fall or your own fall. The outer shell is reinforced with an expanded polyestrene (EPS) which absorbs energy in the event of impacts.

An adjusting wheel in the back allows you to crank the helmet tighter or loosen it with just one hand, and its ergonomic design helps you to feel like you have a custom fit with no loose spots.

I use the Skywalker helmet for Search and Rescue.
It is a perfect helmet for SAR because it rides high on the head. Our team, Wind River Search and Rescue, operates in the Columbia River Gorge and our gear needs to be very versatile. This helmet is great for rope rescue, hiking the PCT or river rescue. I used your product comparison to decide on this helmet and I am very satisfied with the result. I have only been able to use a couple times but this helmet is bomber. I spent a whole day in the middle of February climbing and rappeling wearing it over a hat and it worked fine. It is light enough you forget its on but I had no qualms sitting my 230lbs on it while we ate lunch. It does scuff and scratch easy but it is a helmet on rocks it's going to happen no matter what eventually.

I have had this helmet for several years and have no complaints what so ever. It is comfortable and affordable. Certainly a shopper could spend more money on helmets but why would they when you can get this product and such a reasonable price. I am very happy with this helmet.

I have been using this helmet for a few months now and I like it a lot. It is comfortable and lightweight. The suspension on it adjusts well to fit most any head. My only problem with it so far is the glue that holds the top pad inside the helmet came off. This does not stop it from functioning but the pad does move around now.

Overall, great helmet. It is really comfortable, very lightweight, and does what it is supposed to do. I have a really small head, but it adjusts to fit me very well, albeit looks a little silly on, but what helmet doesn't?

This is a nice lightweight helmet with a low profile that is easy to adjust and fits securely on your head. It is comfortable enough for extended wear. I have not been using it that long so I can not vouch for the durability but I am happy with this helmet.

Haven't gotten opportunity to use this helmet outside, but wore it around the house for a couple hours to make sure it was going to be comfortable. It's fits great and doesn't have that huge head look some helmets do. Also seems well built.
