Comments about Osprey Atmos 50 Backpack - 2008:

It worked just perfectly as a carry on item when I travelled to Peru this summer. Granted I pack very light. I still had more than enough room for every thing I needed for a month or two in Peru.

Wish I had more reasons to use it.

Comments about Osprey Atmos 50 Backpack - 2008:

I used this pack mainly as a suitcase for Australia. Packed light for Summer weather. Got to take it with me on most planes as carry-on despite it being bigger and heavier than they allow.

I'm 80 and in good health. I want to be able to hike in to a lake without torturing myself. This pack seems to understand that.

Comments about Osprey Atmos 50 Backpack - 2008:

This pack is comfortable to wear since the thinner hipbelt wraps the hips extremely well. This allows for the weight to sit on your hips instead of your shoulders. The pack is also durable: it has been on multiple trips across the country and countless week long backpacking trips throughout the country. I love this pack!
