The Day Star Hydration Pack by Camelbak is exclusively for women, with a curved harness that fits your body and a sternum strap positioned for stability and comfort.  70oz of water volume keeps you hydrated for 2-3 hours on the trail, sightseeing, or just getting through your busy day.  An Air Mesh harness with Velvetex lining allows for excellent ventilation and comfort with a full zip access to the water reservoir that makes loading easy.

I have used this for short 2 hour hikes, as well as my two 15 mile adventures up Long's Peak (12 and 9.5 hour trips) in Estes Park, CO. The pack held all of the food I needed, as well my extra clothing (started out in a few shirts plus a warming windproof jacket; ended up in a tank top by the run home). Although you can stuff a lot in the pack, it does not look that big, and collapses well when it only has water in it. It also has nice little compartments for you cellphone, etc. This pack is very comfortable, holds enough water even for longer hikes, and holds up well even through some bush-whacking. The water flows easily through the tubing, and is easy to clean out and dry after the hike. So happy with this purchase!

I bought this backpack for everyday use. I carry all the neccesities which no longer includes a water bottle. I love it. But it would also be well suited for a hike or bike ride.
