The Black Diamond Contact Strap Crampons are great for attaching to nearly any footwear. Don't want to wear crampon compatible boots, or buy them for that matter? Not a lot of ice on the trail, but just enough? These simple, versatile crampons are made in a steel frame that provides solid purchase on glaciers and their low weight are easy for backpacking.
ABS plates can be bought with the crampons as well to reduce snowballing or stickiness.
