STERIPEN SOLAR CHARGER

The Steripen Solar Charging Case allows your Steripen to treat up to 1250 Gallons of water. One set of lithium non-rechargeable batteries treats approximately 40 liters of water, which is a lot, but when you are out in the backcountry for extended periods of time, those batteries will run out.  With a set of rechargeable batteries and this optional clamshell storage case with an integrated solar charger you can keep your Steripen running even without an outlet or electricity. It's integrated solar panel will recharge 2 batteries in 2-4 days depending on solar conditions. 

You can also charge the batteries in a couple of hours using the 110V/240V power adapter (included) or the 12V auto adaptor (sold separately).
