The V8 PFD by Astral is a new vest for 2008 and is one of the first breathable life vests on the market.  With a patent pending technology, Astral calls Airescape, where the PFD's contact surface with the body allows air to flow out through ventilation slits on the front and back.  A mesh back design allows maximum air to flow through the vest and accomodates boats with high seatbacks.  Articulated foam panels are ergonomically shaped to conform to your torso shape and allow total freedom of movement.
