The Patagonia Down Sweater is an ultralight, highly efficient insulation for cold mountain pursuits. At the Chasm View bivy, you get a vertigo-inducing panorama of the Diamond and alpenglow over the Rockies, as well as – at 14,000 feet – chilly air in any season. Patagaonia's Down Sweater works simply, with minimal weight, superb compressibility and excellent warmth. The polyester shell, treated with Deluge® DWR (durable water repellent), does more than look sharp: It's tear-resistant and windproof and made from polyester that's 50% recycled.
