The Marmot Essence provides ultralight, ultra-low volume rain protection with light-reflective detailing. Engineered for weight-critical activities like adventure racing, biking, endurance races and speed climbing.  With Marmot's PreCip Plus Dry Touch Technology, this jacket is Waterproof/Breathable. 

Marmot's proprietary PU coating technology is specially engineered for unlined garments with excellent durability.  A special layer next to the skin reduces condensation and the sticky clammy feel of most coatings. Marmot's Angel-Wing Movement™ allows full range of motion in the arms so the jacket doesn't ride up.  Marmot's Tech Fit is a minimalist, body conforming cut for an aerobic, athletic fit.
