I have worn the dress both to work and out on the weekend. I have worn it with with boots and Dansko flats. In the warmer months, I'd likely wear it with backless flats. It can be worn with tights or leggings. The small was a bit snug in the rear while a bit loose in the top. (5' 4'' and 125 lbs, broad, swimmers shoulders) The medium gave me extra room for my backside, but was baggy along the neck line and belt area. The sleeves were a little long as well, but I figured I could always do a little intentional shrinking in the wash.
It's nice to have a comfortable dress with easy-flowing material that is sporty, yet has some flare with the sleeves and belt. By the way, the material is unforgiving in terms of hiding any stomach pooches, My friend that is a few months postpartum said that was the only thing that kept her from keeping the dress.

At 5'5" this dress sits nicely about 2" above my knees and fit as I would expect with Prana's other products. I think the dress is very slimming because of the shape and I LOVE the sleeves. I think they add to the shape of the dress and I thought they were the perfect length so that they weren't too low and getting in the way. I like having the sash because for those of us with larger breasts, we sometimes need something to pull the dress back in to be fitting. The material is very nice, warm enough, not itchy, and overall soft and not clingy.

Nice pick for someone looking for a basic sweater dress. I have it in coal. The colors were as I expected, and the fit is true to size. I usually wear a small or a 4 in prAna, and this fit perfectly well. Knee length on me at 5'3". The stripes are flattering, the fabric is perfect (warm but lightweight, not itchy), and the dress washes well. Lost one star because of a couple unnecessary details. The bell sleeves don't really fit well with the dress--I don't see it as having a very retro look to it overall, so the sleeves seem out of place. The sash is also not necessary. The dress itself is fitted, so it does not create shape, and it blends in with the stripes, so it doesn't create additional visual appeal. All in all, it tying it just winds up creating a lump in the middle of your back if you lean back against a chair. However, it looks great and feels great, and I would buy it again.

I think this dress is great other than the length which I found to be too short for a 5'9" 40 year old. Ah well...others will enjoy the quality, color & cut who don't mind a short dress.

Love the colors and contrast knitting, but have a small complaint about sizing. The dress is proportionately larger on top than the bottom, which is definitely fitted. The sleeves on my sz. med are longer than the one the model is wearing. Basically, I am usu. a Prana sz. small on top and medium bottom, so this is reverse proportion for me. But it works. Looks awesome with tall boots.
