The Petzl TacTikka XP Adapt Headlamp is a incredibly dynamic headlamp that offers tons of features for any sort of endeavor while you are in the outdoors.  A single light produces a flooding spot beam for sharp, proximity lighting that shines up to 35 meters, and is equipped with a wide angle lens that allows you to see more of a circumference of your area as you are moving.  

The XP Adapt system gives you the ability to remove the headlamp and attach it to a belt or jacket with the clip mount, or to a helmet (or hard surface) with the adhesive mount.

Constructed with three different lighting levels that help you to save your batteries according to the task at hand - Maximum, Optimum, and Economic.

The XP Adapt has three different interchangable filters (red, green, and blue) that allow you to be more discreet at night while preserving night vision.  A carrier in the headlamp is available to store your second lens when not in use.

There is also a Boost mode that permits the light to shine 50 meters for 20 seconds in situations where you need to see further than normal, and when your batteries are 70-90% low, you can view a battery level indicator light that lets you know to change them before you are left in the dark.

The XP Adapt operates on 3 AAA/LR03 batteries (included).
