The Petzl Sama Harness is the harness to get if you are doing long multi-pitch routes, projecting at the local secret crag, or just simply rock climbing. An incredibly breathable harness that has elasticized leg loops for a snug fit and does not constrict your flexibility in any way when you are climbing. Super comfy for those continuous falls or when you are hanging out on that windy belay.
The Sama is constructed with only the most supportive breathable monofilament mesh that distributes pressure throughout the harness, giving you the ultimate in support and comfort.
To ensure absolute safety, the Sama is equipped with Doubleback buckles that are pre-threaded and adjust quickly with just one hand!
Reinforced tie-in points are crucial in that high wearing area where you tie in, belay from and also have the most contact with the rock.(due to the nature of climbing)
Lightweight, comfy and stylish for those days out at the crag or climbing a peak.
- Frame Construction with breathable monofilament mesh evenly distributes pressure, providing maximum support and comfort
- Woven polyester mesh on the inside of the harness wicks moisture for improved comfort and speeds drying in wet conditions
- Perforated closed cell foam on the waistbelt and leg loops increases breathability
- DoubleBack buckle is pre-threaded and adjusts quickly with a single pull, helping to ensure proper closure
- Green belay loop helps users identify proper tie-in / attachment point
- Reinforced tie-in points for increased durability in this high-wear area
- Elasticized leg loops have a large range of expansion for correct fit, while staying in place on the thighs
- Rigid, inclined front equipment loops for easy access to gear; flexible rear loops stay out of the way while wearing a pack

As long as your upper thighs are proportional to your above-hipbones waist, this fits great! My harness hasn't saved a life yet, but I trust that it will, when nature or judgment fails.

Great harness! Easy to put on, pretty breathable for summer climbing, padded enough for all day use but light enough for the redpoint. Had this harness for almost a year now and it is holding up well, no signs of wear yet other than being dirty from being in it all the time.

Never had a fixed leg harness before this one. Comfortable considering weight, leg loops fit. Haven't spent time in the saddle on long multi-pitch routes (have another harness for that), but for the single to short two pitch routes around town it's a great harness.
