As timeless as a full-rail bottom turn at 8-foot Sunset, the men's Patagonia Wavefarer Board Shorts - 21" are the foundation of our board short collection. Newly updated, they’re the ultimate go-anywhere, do-anything surf trunks. Made of a light, durable and quick-drying 4.3-oz Supplex nylon in a wide range of solids and prints, the Wavefarers feature a natural fit with 3-piece self-lined waistband that contours to the hip. The forward inseam helps eliminate chafing in the water, and the flat-lying fly with single rubber button is optimized for comfort while paddling. Closure is a bartacked ladder-lock drawstring for security and durability. Self-draining pocket has a noncorrosive plastic zipper, internal key loop and added zipper pull for ease of use. 21" outseam.

I am about 6ft tall and wear a waist sized 32'-33' depending on brand. I ordered the short in waist size 32' and they're still pretty big in the waist. Also they're a little longer than I expected from considering the inseam/outseam length. Overall though a really nice pair of board shorts and made with exceptional quality. Maybe I should just gain some weight.

Purchased these shorts for summer whitewater kayaking. I like the fact that they dry amazingly fast and are almost completely dry by the time I reach the end of a shuttle on the Ocoee. The only drawback I see is the fact that I would personally like a few more pockets. As always, great patagonia quality...

These board shorts look and feel great. They fit well for me (32 inch waist is true to size). Love the styling. There is no Velcro to get in the way and there is relatively nothing that can go wrong with them on long trips.
