Comments about Patagonia Ultralight Down Jacket (Men's):
This is a really great amount of warmth for the weight, and it figs snugly under other layers if the weather demands it. On its own, I'm happy down to 20 degrees so long as the wind's not up. The biggest selling point is the weight and compressibility - it's exactly what I want in a cool-weather jacket.
Pros
- Down
- Durable
- Form-Fitting
- Lightweight

Cons
Best Uses

Comments about Patagonia Ultralight Down Jacket (Men's):
A truly amazing jacket at ~9 oz., yet keeps me warm in all but the coldest conditions! I got this as an alternative to my TNF Nuptse (700 fill power) jacket because it was a bit bulky and too warm in some cases. The Ultralight is supremely packable into its stuff sack and isn't excessively warm indoors, so I don't have to keep taking it off and putting it on. I often wear it with just a baselayer underneath if it's not too cold outside, and with an R2 high-loft jacket underneath if it's particularly chilly out. The 800 fill power is superb, and I can't say enough positive things about this jacket. The fit is great, and quite warm without the bulk, and the material is highly durable.
Pros
- Great Fit
- Lightweight
- packable
- Warm
Cons
- Could be warmer
Best Uses
- Layering
Comments about Patagonia Ultralight Down Jacket (Men's):
Really happy with the Patagonia Ultralight Jacket. Very lightweight, nice fit and brilliant finishes. Prefer Patagonia's slimmer design so I can layer it under my spring jackets. Only trade-off is the lighter down means it's not as warm as the heavier jackets but knew that going in. Fast delivery and great sale from Rock Creek (35% OFF).
Comments about Patagonia Ultralight Down Jacket (Men's):
This is great for those cold days out on the trail. Those mornings when the headwind is cold and you just slept on top of a bald. When you are about to get out of that warm down sleeping bag just throw this on and your upper half will stay warm. These have the elastic bands at the bottom and around the wrists so it keeps those cold breezes from ruining your mood, it also keeps you from looking like a square if you are using it for casual wear. The great thing about these is that they are lightweight, comfortable, and compact into a fist sized bundle. Good for fall or spring hikes and just chillin during the colder seasons.
