Synchilla Vest (Men's)
Product Number: 22171
The Men's Synchilla Vest by Patagonia is made of soft, recycled polyester fleece. The Men's Synchilla Vest is Patagonia's time-honored torso-warmer.
Worn over a tee it warms a Red Butte concert, and worn under a shell it heats up a cold powder day. When a shirt isn't enough and a jacket's too much, this versatile core-warmer keeps you comfortable without restricting movement. It's made from ultrasoft, lightweight double-faced polyester fleece (85% recycled) that's just thick enough to keep the chill out. With zippered handwarmer pockets and elasticized armholes and hem.

Great vest! Easy to layer more on top or underneath. I've used it with just a t-shirt and been plenty warm in 50 degree weather.

Comments about Patagonia Synchilla Vest (Men's) 2008:
My old synchilla vest from 8 years ago was still in good shape until it dissapeared on a trip- this updated one seems to have the same qualities I loved about the old one. Extremely durable, great fit (I am 5'10 and a medium is a perfect snug fit over a button down or a base layer- I would recommend sizing up to wear over a sweater or more layers) and moderate warmth is great around town or as a layering piece while on the hill. You really can't go wrong unless you are looking for a technical vest with more bells and whistles.

This vest is great to wear to work or under a winter coat. Its simple enough you can pull it off with a dress shirt, and it provides a ton of extra warmth in the winter months. looking forward to it in the summer as well for nights on the beach, and in the boat.

Comments about Patagonia Synchilla Vest (Men's) 2008:
I use the product mostly for stylish purposes...its great for mid 50's-60's weather, not bulky and easy to wear around, warm, durable, and well-fitting. I got a medium and it fits pretty tight, but just right.
